New Post Sunday Lunch Venue

Hello all Your wedding invitations stated Bertie's Bar as the location for the lunch on the Sunday. Unfortunately, they are now undergoing renovations at that time so the post wedding Sunday lunch will now be held at The William Morris Pub in Merton Abbey Mills (Colliers wood).

Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately the venue only holds 86 people (including babies & children)  for the wedding breakfast due to fire restrictions, so we have had to be very restrictive with the guest list for the day. However, the venue holds up to 200 in the evening. For this reason, if you have a partner that has not been included on your invitation, please feel free to reach out to us and we can review the evening numbers and let you know if it will be okay for them to join you after the meal. 
Please also note that everyone is welcome to attend the church ceremony.

Are children welcome?

Everyone is welcome to the church ceremony including all evening guests and children. As for the wedding breakfast, if your childrens' are names on your invitation, then they are more than welcome. Please make sure that you include them when you RSVP as all people including babies and children count towards our headcount of 86. 

Is there a children's menu?

For children aged 12 and under, there will be a childrens menu served. Please make sure that you select this option on the RSVP if your child falls within this age range. 
For children under 2, please let us know if you need a highchair and you are welcome to pack your own food for your child - please mention this in your RSVP if that is the case.

Where should I park?

There is parking avaliable a both the chruch and at Highley Manor

Does the bar take cash?

Unfortunately, the bar is card only.

What should I wear?

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding ceremony is indoors, as is the wedding reception. However,  the canapés and drinks reception at Highley Manor might be outside, weather dependant.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Will you have a babysitter on the premises?

No, however,  there will be a playrrom set up at the reception venue.

What time will the reception end?

Carriages are at 12:30am
